Logs Direct - Delivering kiln dried logs and smokeless fuel across the UK

I found their website easy to navigate, and there was plenty of interesting and appealing products on offer. Arranging the delivery was a snap and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they kept to the delivery date and time of my choosing! What's more, the delivery man was especially helpful and, although I imagine he couldn't go out of his way like that all of the time, it was nevertheless greatly appreciated.

All in all, I had an excellent experience. The service was fantastic and one I will personally use again and can heartily recommend.

I ordered a large 2cbm crate of birch logs from here. Delivery was quick. The crate was the size advertised and the logs were extremely well stacked so there was minimal wasted space inside. Overall I reckon I got 4x the amount of wood Vs the last dumpy bag I bought for a little over 2x the price. The logs were also great quality. The crate was wrapped so although the crate arrived wet the logs were nice and dry inside. Very impressed.

“Soil” full of chunks of glass, stones and sticks. They say all soil is full of glass and they can’t possibly avoid it. As though I’ve never seen or bought soil before. I wasn’t asking for a refund etc just letting them know. Wasn’t going to leave a review but they were also rude, denied there being glass while also saying all soil has glass. Fed up of terrible customer service.

As others have said, fantastic customer service and wonderful driver who delivered my logs and helped me to get them into the back garden when the bag they came in turned out to be too big to get through the gate. It will have added on extra time to his day to do that and I'm so grateful, don't know what I'd have done otherwise. Won't hesitate to use the company again.

Terrible logs sent. Promised to send another batch at a discount and then upped the price. Unfriendly customer service. Buy local, save yourself money and be more carbon friendly.

Received a half tonne of top soil from LOGS DIRECT this morning and could not be happier. The soil had no stones and appears to be good quality.
The delivery was on time and efficent. The driver was a top notch guy who knew exactly what he was doing and made our job *so much easier* by putting the soil directly into the garden, saving the time to shovel it all on there for the next few hours.
Looking forward to working with Logs Direct again in the future.
