There is a desert menu too, but I didn’t have room for that.
Nearly 3 hours to order a delivery and still not arrived ???pointless to order from Tates .. Sam on holiday .. manager not in .. delivery via pizza parlour .. call them cos we don’t know ??
Update of 2hours 50 mins to arrive
Food freezing
Driver said that he collected the order over an hour before delivery

I’m very understanding that sometimes things go wrong. That’s the way it is!
People are expectant but almost 3 hours !!

Before I visited I looked at google reviews and they ranged from 5 stars to 1 star so I was a little apprehensive. Fish and chips is best eaten fresh and hot, so I assume the low rated reviews are for ones where they had them delivered home.
Because it was too cold to sit outside I had to sit inside with the TV blaring out . Why do these places inflict this on their customers?
Loud noice while eating is not conducive to good digestion. I walked out with indigestion cos of this unnecessary noise .
Why not just have low music playing in the background ?
Will not be returning.
As a family of 6 we all had different meal options and all were beautifully cooked and thoroughly enjoyable. We all were very happy. Portion sizes were very generous, unfortunately we struggled to finish it all 😭.
Highly recommend. Best fish and chips 🥳
Menu states made to order, so expect a wait.

Waited half hour and food came.
Chips barely warm.
Place was packed, so didn’t want to bother them, I just left them, and told them when I left.
The small guy behind shouted @impossible impossible” and gestured to the fryers.
Don’t tell me you tell my boss, only two working today.
Ok! And that’s my fault, how?
I would not pay for the cold food, even the burger was borderline warm.
So it wasn’t cooked to order.
Just apologise, don’t try charge for cold food, explain your under staffed, and that’s it.
But no he ranted on shouting after me as I left.
So here’s the review I promised you.
Your a disgrace, and need customer focussed training.
I did not raise my voice once.
But you vented your frustrations at a paying customer, who simply stated the chips are cold, not warm, cold.
Never will I step foot in here again.
Look at your recent reviews, there are lots about cold food
COLD FOOD.
Why don’t you listen.
