John’s Friary Fish & Chip Shop

Love this place - great fish chips & peas for £8 when I visit Fleetwood (Fisherman Friends) and stay at either the Euston Fleetwood or Hilton Blackpool on business.
Recommended Local Business.

Sadly the best I can give this one is 2 stars.
The food itself was cooked well and the staff were friendly.
However..
As for portion size I wasn't exactly expecting a battered whale and a sack of spuds but if I gave my large fish and chips to my kids pet hamster then said hamster would think I had put him on a diet...
My 7 year old daughter who eats like a mouse looked at me and did an Oliver twist job on it...
Either halve the prices or double the portion sizes.
Until then we won't be going back!!!

Came here for a small fish and chips paid £5 for it and had to of been the worst fish and chips I've ever had wasn't left to dry and it would just fall apart when eating would not recommend

Beautiful food and very reasonably priced. All the family didn't leave a scrap of food.

Cooked to perfection as always the fresh fish, chips always lovely too
