ROYAL CHIPPY & PIZZA

I would like to start with the fact that I would have given this a 0 if I could. From the start the order was wrong. The delivery driver then suggested that he wasnt sure if I had paid, when I had in fact paid on card. I was this close to a potential ‘double payment’.

We eagerly opened the food only to be greeted by a chicken burger that had at most 1% chicken content. The chips were stone cold and unseasoned. The chicken wings were dry to the bone and immidiately absorbed any remaining moisture from my mouth.

The wrap was a tasty. And the cake slices are thinner than an elderly mans hair. We also couldnt wash this abysmal meal down with our drinks of preference as they failed to bring them.

I expected better from a local well established company.

Couldn't give 0 stars, so a reluctant 1 it is.

We ordered 2 meal deals, only 1 drink turned up.

There was no salad or sauce on the wraps, which is a shame as it may have soaked up some of the salmonella.

Within an hour of eating, I didn't feel right. Myself and my partner have both been throwing up and peeing out the back since the early hours.

Should have known really, as the last order we had from there wasn't up to the usual standard.

Safe to say, we won't be buying another takeaway for a while, so yeah, cheers 👍

I can't recommend this place highly enough. My partner and I broke down on M1 near junction 25. They delivered fish, chips and peas to our broken down car in super fast time and the food was superbly hot and delicious. (After 3 hours on the hard shoulder we were getting very hungry and no tow truck in sight. I realized the Royal Chippy was nearby, but, due to brambles, fences and trees, I couldn't get there. That's when I called for delivery...) Thanks guys 😊👍

Food decent. Delivery through Uber Eats always later than app says.

Food is very nice can't fault it but delivery service is shocking. The past 3 or 4 orders have even well over half an hour late and after giving them the benefit of the doubt 3 or 4 times I won't be ordering again. Waiting almost 2 hours for our food.

First time ordering here and will definitely order again. Everything ordered was spot on ,nice one you guy's.

£20 down the drain as I never got my refund for the order I never received. Absolutely disgusting, and the staff member I spoke to on the phone wasn’t even remotely helpful. Avoid this place.

Took money and never delivered tried to get a refund and nothing. Kind of disgusting practice.
