Castle Chippy - Clitheroe

The only thing letting you down is the portion size, fish is fried superb, not to much making it all crunchy an crispy.
They also fry your fish in separate oil, so it’s not mixed in with sausages. Brilliant friendly staff

Not great, soggy chips and flimsy small bit of fish in loads of batter.
Wouldn't recommend. Plus the closing times are ridiculously early. Do locals normally get food and eat before 1900?

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time!
The batter was lovely and crispy and the fish inside was so tender it melted in the mouth.
It’s very reasonably priced, only cost £6.90 for my meal and you get loads!
I’ll definitely be trying this place again :-)

Very good fish and chips. Probably the best in the area. The only downside is the problem with parking at busy times, but well worth the effort
