Browns Fish & Chips.

First visit, pudding chips and gravy was just as good as any other chippy.
Will be trying again.

Not the best chips, the fish was better than average. The peas were good and the service was good. I hope the chips will improve when the potatoes get more mature.

I've been here many times in the past.
I know fish is expensive, but I was disappointed with the size when we arrived home this time and opened the package. It was tiny - 3.5" X 1.5" approx. Not particularly good quality too. Chips were alright.
Perhaps times are so tough, this is what to expect with takeaway food.
I will think twice in future.

Not good chips which did vary from good to ok as I went back an hr later,fish had heavy batter on cod n peas weren't special very much like you would make with pea n ham soup,good friendly service n very clean,HIT N MISS!!

Best fish and chip shop in Chorley, almost always open as well, can be very busy though

Well...the fact tht we travel from Wigan to this chippy should say it all...we won't go anywhere else for fish especially because I'm very fussy about hygiene standards where fish and poultry is...try this chippy..you will be happy 😊

Lightly done fish with chips and peas, best I have had anywhere for ages. Well done George (I only know his name as a heard some say it). Not been here before either. Ps staff were great.

This is by far and away the very best fish and chips I've had for a long time. I googled fish and chips on my way home from Southport and by chance picked this one, I certainly dont regret it. Excellent value, well cooked....its a shame I would have to travel for 90 minutes to come here regularly. Will certainly call when I'm next in the area
