York Street Chippy

We've gone to York Street Chippy for years. Everything is good. The fish has to be the best in the area. Tonight we tried the Chinese set menu for 2. It was enough for 3. After ordering online, I only had to wait 2 minutes at the chippy for my order.. It was good to look at, (always a good thing) and very good to eat. York Street Chippy is well worth a visit and it's easy to park outside (no yellow lines)

My usual Chinese were on holiday so I opted to give York Street a go and very pleased I did, was lovely, definitely go again 5 🌟

Went 2nite ask for special fried rice not good it was just egg fried rice with meat and veg layed on top.
Salt and pepper chips not good will defo give this place a miss

It used to be very good years go, many years ago. Now it actually tastes horrid. Sorry guys but it does. If you want seriously good fish head up the road to whalley Rd fish bar. The fish smells from York Street for some reason :(

A very warm friendly gent takes your order, and his lovely wife serves delicious hot food in minutes.

Good tasty chips, had them with the gravy. Gravy was nice but too salty for my liking (though I admit I don't like much salt, so I can't blame them on that, I assume it's just my taste). Great serving sizes! Very fast.

My family and I have been coming here for years, especially when my grandad lived nearby. Never a problem for us.

Massive portions hot and fresh food excellent will be calling again highly recommend
