A & D Fisheries - Traditional Fish & Chip Shop

Traditional Fish and Chips served by families of Cypriot descent is part of the culture I grew up with. These warm, Caring craftsmen of Britain’s staple are keeping the tradition alive here in Kent at A & D Fisheries.
The format is simple, fish, chips, salt, vinegar, boxed or paper wrapped. Fresh as and delicious. Want something a little different I highly recommend the Mushy Peas Fritters and battered Hollumi.

Used to be good. I travel further for the good stuff! I was the only person in the chip shop when i placed my order. I waited over 30 minutes for Haddock and chips. During which time at least 10 people came and went with their cod and chips orders. Not obly that but i was asked several times to repeat ny order. I never received an apology. Once I got the food home it was cold and not fresh and left me feeling disappointed.

Ordered through Deliveroo, came in good time, and food tasted very nice however the chips, sausage and saveloy was luke warm, pretty much cold by the time I started eating this is possibly due to sitting under warmer then delivered. Nuggets and chicken burger was hot though, clearly cooked fresh. Perhaps when doing online orders the food should be cooked to order to ensure it stays hot during the delivery process.

went in for cod and chips, greeted on arrival by 2 great members of staff who are a credit to their employee, paid for my large cod, chips and peas, the cod was cooked fresh but tbh I have never waited so long for piece of fish and in all fairness was ok as we're the chips, there was what I presume was a senior member of staff, George I think his name was who spoke to the young girl who worked there like a piece of sh#t, very unprofessional and made himself look like a bell end, as I said though the food was good... just get rid of George and the place will improve 10 fold 👍

Lovely battered halloumi and love that there is an option to buy a salad too. Fish is crispy and hot and the chips are some of the best around.

Just had fish and chips and it was sooo nice - way better than over priced Pappas!

Great food chip are really nice not greasy and the fish is just as good.
Its become my number 1 stop in aylesford if I fancy fish and chips everything else is just as good and staff are friendly

Very friendly staff even tho they were very busy fish and chips freshly cooked the staff couldn't apologise enough for the delay food was excellent 👌
