North Valley Chippy

Bought 2 x Cod & Chips and a large sausage. The fish was good however the chips were dry as a bone, as was the sausage. Gave the sausage to the dog who refused to eat it!!!
Sorry North Valley, you were good but gone downhill, back to the Cemetery for us.

Not many chippies left with this kind of quality. Everything is perfect. The owner and staff know exactly what to do for all customers. Don't ask for a large portion of chips. It will feed at least 6. Could go on and on. CLASS.

The food is as good as you'd find at any chippy. They have lots of other specialty items on their menu that you wouldn't necessarily find in other chippy's which offers a lot more variety.

The few times we've been in, the service has been a tad slow but thats more likely to do with how busy they are than anything else. The staff are very friendly.

Only my 2nd visit here on Thursday tea time. Love the fish & chips. Really tasty and deff NOT greasy at all unlike some places. As I said this was only my 2nd visit but from now on it's North Valley Chippy every time. One tiny criticism is that there was a tiny bit too much salt on the chips. But that's just my taste and nothing major at all 10/10. Loved it Thank you

Went on recommendation , ordered lightly battered fish n chips, all freshly cooked with peas n curry sauce, arrived home and everything was well packed, fish in cardboard boxes which is better that the polystyrene boxes that makes the fish go wet. The portions were large and cooked to perfection, best fish n chips I've had in years, curry and peas were hot n tasty, the staff are very friendly and the price was fine. All in excellent. Not really a fan of writing reviews but I ordered a chip butty with cheese with a pot of curry sauce and it was absolutely delicious! Great service and cheap prices for proper chippy chips that is really filling! Will be visiting again, don't miss out people!

Really good chippy, very cold waiting as both doors open, staff were polite.
