The Fish Inn

Fish and chips (Sunday 20th Feb)for 5 people. Chips were awful and everyone left them. Rock salmon was nice. If I wanted Potato wedges I would have ordered them, try checking Your cutting machine.

First time that I had visited here as was recommended to me .... It wasn't busy and my order for 2 kebabs was taken immediately.... HALF AN HOUR later after watching a girl come from out the back breathing VAPE AIR yet again inside the back of the kitchen , I received my food.....The chips looked very overcooked a very dark brown colour.so passed on the chips . After a 2 minute drive we started to eat our food .. The kebab meat was not hot and under cooked , very disappointing and sorry will not return ....

Outstanding fish and chips.
Went there today as I was passing on the way to the coast. Ordered 7 meals. 2 x rock eel and chips, 3 x savaloy (large) and chips, 2 x chicken nugget and chip's.
The portions were large and the food was cooked fresh and to be honest it was probably the best fish and chip experience I've had in year's and I've driven past this chippy a dozen or so times. The chicken wasn't them processed rubbish that you sometimes get... No, they were large chunks of chicken in batter and plentyful and very tasty on all accounts. And very good value for money I can't remember the exact amount but it was around the £40is mark and for 7 good size delicious meals I ain't complaining. If I could of given an extra star I would of. I will of course be swerving by that direction again and soon I hope 😁😉

Large box of meat is 1/3 full and tasted awful. Chips were cold. Rung 3 times. Hung up on 3 times. Rude

After 17 yrs of eating here. I can finally say no more. Lamb doner was absolutey disgusting, tasteless & really not sure it's even lamb, pitta bread under cooked and onions had no taste or bite, chilli sauce the same no bite & tasteless. Can't get over the ridiclous price which has gone daft yet the prtions have got tiny. So sad to see such a once fantastic & one of the best fish & chips shops go so down hill. Shame the owner has turned into a bread head & obviously doesn't care as much about quality. Then has the nerve to charge £2.50 delivery for this really AWFUL AWFUL food that's only fit for my food recycle BIN.
Plenty of more FISH INN the sea and will definately SUPERIOR QUALITY. SHAME ON YOU FOR SERVING SUCH AWFUL FOOD. I had to give 1 star to post, but really didn't want to give any & if I had the chance I would've done minus stars. NEVER AGAIN :(

Bought a large cod and a medium cod here. When I got it home and saw the tiny size of it I was disgusted. I will not be going back, I will be going to Reg's fish bar instead, they give a nice big cod. When I pay for a large, I expect to get a LARGE.

Ordered 2x cheese burgers, one 1/4lb one gourmet. Side of reg chips. Onion rings. Less than a score. Arrived quickly, friendly delivery. Food was hot. Tasty. Fresh salad. Prices typical of the type of food sold, but generally cheaper than a few other places I looked at. Have ordered before, will order again. Reasonable delivery fee. 4/5

The food is delicious. Only a couple times it has been cold arriving but other than that the portions are well sized. If you eat from here you will be left satisfied and full.
