Best fish and chips ever!!! They cook everything fresh, in front of you. Quick service and pleasant customer service.

Just ate here moments ago. I had picked up a rather large package and was faced with the task of a half hour walk back home. I was very hungry. I got a small cod n chips. A steal at £6. Now I'm a connoisseur of the fish n chip a perfectionist! Now this my friends was quite simply the best fish n chips probably ever. Fresh and cooked too perfection. I was so hungry and tired. The gentleman allowed me to eat in. Thank you sir! Sat at bus stop on the London rd writing this review reminiscing. I got 10 minutes to go. What a day. Sadly my friend doesn't seem to ever be anymore. He used to give me some almighty portions. With that being said I'm going to a star of this review! Come back my friend all will be forgiven.

Rather poor, maybe because it was 21.30 on a Wednesday? Nether the less I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and asked for "No legs" which was ignored. Also no napkins or freshen up wipes. Chips were old, and poor quality. I ate outside, where there was no rubbish bin. Overall, I won't be returning fir sure!

Food is nice, but the owner of the shop is very rude men, today I saw he was being angry to a staff because he was friendly to a customer..
I think the owner have to learn from his staff or get training from them about customer service.. fish and chicken taste good, but that doesn't mean everyone will come to buy food.. the owner should learn atleast some decency and service.......

fish full of oil and not crispy, the potatoes soft and with a lot of oil. very sad, hope they improve the quality.

£9,90 for large cod with chips (normal price and portion - maybe even on the higher side considering there is no seating and location) - normal taste also. Probably didn’t help walking back to place 15 min by that time chips and batter were soft even though the fish was freshly cooked …

Been using this shop regularly for last 2-3 years but today was and is my last time there not only has the prices gone up a while ago at the same time the portions got smaller and smaller, today orders large cod and chips got about 20 chips and the smallest cod you can think of, gave them the benefit of the doubt over the past few weeks but the portions remained rather small.
Will NEVER use them again.
