Hadlow Kebab & Fish Bar

We ordered on a Friday evening at 19.20,Large Doner meat and chips and cod and chips for delivery, it took over an hour for delivery and when it did eventuality appear, the Fish needed a hammer and chisel to get through. To be fair I rung and they sent out another piece of fish quickly but batter was still dry but fish was OK and to be honest the meat and chips were good but they kept saying it was because they were busy and just eat orders were coming in, I ordered on the phone direct. Never again as this happened before but thought I would give them another go. And to top it off the delivery woman was trying to say its because its busy!

I had previously left a bad review on just eat app, after my delivery didn’t turn up.
However high praise to them for sorting it out, genuine mistake as the driver had gone to the wrong house... someone got a free meal!
The driver turned up along with the Manager to personally apologise to me, I got my meal the next night .... on time and delicious with a complimentary bottle of coke... maybe I was too hasty in leaving a bad review on just eat, unfortunately I can’t change that.
Highly recommend this place ... kebabs are great

They RUINED cod n chips dinner!! Completely overloaded with WAY TOO MUCH SALT VINEGAR AND KETCHUP!!! AND they don't accept cards - they misdirected me to "supermarket" for the ATM - 1st supermarket no ATM, 2nd ATM 'out of signal' - they kindly gave me cashback but very long delay as not next door to F&Cshop and busy - waited 30 mins to collect in the end. I thought letting them politely know about the ATM and not having a card machine being a false economy would be helpful but noo!! - was met with a stoney face and no reply whatsoever clearly took umprage on my husband's dinner, which was also OTT expensive at £15.70 to boot!!!! Chinese F&C in Tonbridge was much better than this!!

My wife and I stopped yesterday evening to pick up a kebab from here on the way home. Personally I did not think too much of it and thought it a little pricey. Maybe we just caught them at the end of the evening, as I have heard others say it is good.

Very slow service, I waited almost half an hour for two fish n chips. All the while the staff were prioritising just eat orders that came in after my order. Then right at the end told me they accept cash only, they could’ve told me sooner. By the time I got the food it wasn’t that hot as I had to run to a cash machine. The chips were undercooked too. Wouldn’t eat there again even if the food was free!

Its a shame the man that served me can't put a smile on his face! every time i go in there he looks so glum!

Excellent value, service and food.

It was ok. The service was surly at best. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good. I didn’t feel my custom was valued. I ordered haddock and chips. It was cooked fresh. Chips were ok, not too greasy. Fish was average. Batter wasn’t very good. I probably wouldn’t go back.
