Nice fast service and prices. The decor indoors is really interesting. Fish was a bit too oily for me. The mixed donner was great!

Always have a combination of either Lamb,Chicken or Kofte with Chips, and would always give it a five. Have to drive there, but its my go to place for Kebabs, and a bonus, as i prefer Chip Shop Chips too :P. Very reasonably priced too.

Got a large chicken shish. Very tasty and well cooked. Good kebab shop. Staff are friendly.

I used to love Mr cod. Its been taken over by new people and I do not like it any more. I'm not sure if they changed lamb donner meat supplier, as the meat is now actually disgusting. I couldn't eat it. I work In food so know hot food has like a 2 hour rule.I ordered a saveloy and it was rock hard I couldn't eat it. My other half says the battered sausage and burger is ok.

We have been using mr cod now for over 10 years plus.
But unfortunately the last few times we’ve been there it has gone slightly down hill especially the fish and chips the fish is so flat with hardly and fish inside.
The kebabs and burgers are still okay
It seemed to change after the family that used to run it left.

It’s a shame because I really did enjoy the food I used to get here but unfortunately not so much now

Delicious food, clean and brightly lit shop, friendly and helpful staff.
My husband goes here for our kebabs as well as our fish/chicken and chips etc, everything is perfect, not greasy and fresh salad every time.
My husband always has a good chat and laugh with the friendly staff.
Would definitely recommend Mr Cod.

One of the best.nice friendly staff, premises spotless.food excellent...the fish and chips I would consider the best around the chicken shish so fresh and you get lots of it..our family been going here for years...

been going to mr cod for years my dad's just came home after spending £22.50 on dry fish it's disgusting chips were nice sausage and batter was cold then we find out the new owners are now halal im so angry never will I go there again £9 for a large dry disgusting cod and £7 for medium for the same quality outrageous halal should not be allowed in England full stop.
