Borehamwood Fish & Chips

Sold a large Cod which was small but covered in thick soft mushy batter that tasted of flour
Chips were 1.70 for very small portion and staff were rude.
Overpriced and not nice although the place was clean.
There are much better local options.

Batter is soft, still uncooked on the inside I Cod Roe is microwaved and the cod had absolutely no flavour. How can they get it this wrong?!

Tasty, fresh cod and chips. Very clean shop, with pleasant and friendly staff. My only gripe is that they do not accept debit cards in payment, and insist on cash. Kebabs and pizzas are also on the menu. Recommended.

Really great value, chips were excellent I think any negative reviews for this place are left with a racist agenda.

Worst Fish and Chips I have tasted in 53 years.
Chips, were all ends, so had no potato to them,
Cod and Sausage in batter, do you even know how to cook,.....
SO SOGGY, No crisp to either....
Will NEVER order from you again.
Just finished WHAT I could eat, now feel very SICK!!!

Great local fish and chips. Chips come fresh, fish is lovely but my favourite is the quarter pounder. And their home made sauces are simply amazing - especially the chilli sauce.

Just moved to the area and gave this place another go. I echo the below review. It felt like my food had been reheated. I'd rather spend my money at the many other choices in the parade. Shame to have to throw away food. :(

I'm sorry but...the best chip shop in Borehamwood !!!! These reviews have obviously been written by the owners.
I got a portion of chips and omg they have got to be the worst chips ( no exaggeration) I have ever got from any chip shop. They were all dry and hard. Clearly they were old and re heated. I tried a couple while hunting for a good one. There wasn't any, so threw them away. The few i tried left me feeling ill.
