Never had a bad meal from this chip shop. Always happy to help, always busy, and always clean with lots of food on the meue to choose from. I love the little fish and chips box and great value meal.
Defo recommend guys and gals

Food very poor, chips bitty and hard, meat and potato pie cold and hard, we had to warm it in the micro wave. Cheese and onion pasty rock hard all round the edges. The man that served my husband wanted to overcharge him, it took 3 attempts to get it right after my husband itemized the order with prices, which incidentally was agreed by another customer. we won't be going back. Such a shame as the food is normally good

Fish was freshly cooked and so were the chips. Unfortunately their salt shaker has extremely large holes. The fish was drowned in salt and so were some of the chips. It ruined the meal. The chips were a little soggy and greasy. The chips and the fish looked lovely when they came out of the fryer. I'd say redress the salt shakers and maybe serve the fish and chips in a box..

After a busy day out in Chester with a young family, we were looking for somewhere to sit down and eat a family friendly meal. Chesters was perfect
The meals were delicious and the presentation felt like we were really in a restaurant rather than a fish and chip shop with eating area. The owner (he must have been the owner) couldn't have been more helpful and he was so nice to my daughters and made us all feel very welcome, like we were VIP guests.
Support small businesses folks.

We have been here numerous times over the last few years and always been happy. However more recently standards seem to have dropped. We've had food that wasn't really up to standard and just brushed it off. However last night while I was eating a slimy worm slithered out of my meal and wriggled up the side of the tray. I felt immediately sick and spat out what was in my mouth! I couldn't finish it obviously and will NEVER buy food there again. Horrible experience and has put me right off takeaway food 😔
