Maritime Fish & Chips

Poor experience for the first time I've ordered from here and won't be going back. Very small portion of cold chips which were vastly over salted and tasted like they'd been reheated many times and left to go cold !! Tiny cod roe and cold saveloy. Not sure how difficult it is to deliver at least warm food and decent portion sizes.

Delivery took over 1.5 hours, not the promised 45mins. Delivery driver was rude and the order was incorrect. Having waited so long we ate it anyway. The food was near cold and the chips undercooked to the point of being almost raw. I'd recommend you go anywhere but here. Woeful.

When this first open we bought a selection of food from here and honestly didn't like it at all... it was like frozen oven chips... but reluctantly came here again as we didn't have much choice coming back from holiday and not expecting much we was SUPRISED so much better than before decent chips, fish slight thick batter but all piping hot!
So been back a few times since and will carry on doing so.

The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent and well packed for takeaway. The food nice and hot and the fish was nice and crunchy and not too greasy. I will visit again

Fish was okay and so was delivery time!!! But the big let down is the chips so so so poor quality, the quantity was fine though. The chips where brown in colour, the correct colour should be golden so disappointed. Only ordered from here as we heard it was halal..... Its was a big mistake not ordering fish and chips again might try something else though
