Deep Blue Hampstead

Very small portion for the price. Spent £10.59 on haddock and chips and this is what I got, I would expect to be remotely full for that price. I called the store to say that I wasn't impressed as I've previously had a much larger portion. They explained that the meal that I had ordered comes with small chips and told me the prices. £7.69 for regular haddock, £2.69 for small chips, that comes to £10.28. So I've also now realised I've also been overcharged also. I'll let you judge by the picture. The quality was good though so I've added a additional star...

This was the best fish and chips I have ever had. The meal was so cheap for the size of the meal we got. The chips were great and not at all too greasy while being crisp. The fish had lots of meat on it while having thin, crisp and light batter that was delicious and doesn’t leave you feeling too full. The curry sauce was incredibly good was thick and delicious

Fantastic experience, delicious tasting fish n chips. Took my sister and niece with me this time and they LOVED IT! Maria such a wonderful lovely young lady 💕who takes the orders and serves/prepares the food is really good at her job, polite and cares for the customers. Looking forward to my next visit!!

Enjoyed our meal after having a hospital appointment. Lovely fresh food & very tasty. Very helpful staff. Wheelchair accessible 😊

Food was sub standard and the portion size was a joke, literally a kids meal. Would not go near the place again I’m surprised they are in business. I paid over £40 for two meals, one regular and one large, the large was regular at best with a handful of chips. Avoid at all costs!!!!

On 12Nov2022, the review says 3.9 out of 5 stars. But still, I took a risk and entered the place. It was very clean and tidy! I ordered Hake (fish) and mushy peas. My verdict- it was definitely 5 stars. The batter was crispy, and the fish was perfectly cooked and juicy! I did not order chips but the staff added a handful of fried potatoes, and it was good! Based on my experience, I'd highly recommend Deep Blue fish and chips.

I used to go here a few years ago, I stopped due to how much batter is used to cover the fish and sausages. By the time you open it, there’s barely any fish in there. It does taste good but the deception of a massive fish but it’s pretty much 70% batter than fish. Thank God for options around Hampstead. I never went back again.

My favourite fish and chips shop for sure! It never fails to provide quality and promptly too. Great staff - always receive great customer service from Kamlesh. Genuine customer service with a smile goes a long way! 100% recommend!!
