Ocean King Fish Bar

Back again, can't seem to keep away.
Great service with a smile and very competitive prices, best quality in town and I love the way they can tell you where it all came from.

Lived near for 2 yrs but always found the busy Forton rd put me off trying to park
But tonight I found a space and parked and I'm glad I did :)
Probably the best fish n chips I've tasted in a long time .. :)

£3.50 for a more than adequate pensioners portion of fish n chips :)
Will definitely be calling in again and they reminded me of the big free car park accessed by roads either side of the chip shop.. and an alley way which exits just by the ocean ..

Lifesaver! Isolating with Covid so phoned up to order one meal for this evening. Scampi & chips, big portion size, fresh, still hot. No hassle, great service. Thank you

Had food here yesterday which had a very strange taste.

Even my dog had a dicky tummy.

I had a delivery of a O.A.P fish and chips the fish was good unfortunately the chips were poor
The portion was adequate but the chips were like the they were the end of chips left before a new lit were to be cooked

I'm so sorry but i disagree with a lot of these reviews. The chips were very dry. The fish....OMG! The batter had some visible weird white powder going through it, it was like eating sandpaper, tasted awful, the fish had a very weird taste too...it ended up in the bin

Just been here this evening for the first time.
I can say I'm very Impressed, I had regular cod and chips with curry sauce it was very tasty, plenty there too.
Will deffently be going back soon.

Just had the most amazing delivery from Ocean King Fish Bar, a bit last minute for my dad who has been in lockdown for a year now. So I called the best place I know for a timely delicious delivery asking, hopefully, at short notice. They excelled themselves again, free delivery, timely but the most delicious cod, crispiest chips on the planet with a few little ‘bits’ in the bottom and curry sauce. As a curry sauce virgin I’m well and truly converted. Best fish bar I’ve come across in Gosport. Thank you. Highly recommended and we WILL be calling again
