Absolutely beautiful fish and chips. They were ever so tasty, full of flavour and no greasy after taste. The twice cooked chips are beautiful. My wife had gravy with her meal which I dipped a chip into and that was nice and tasty too. Would definitely recommend Chapel Chippy to anyone.

Best fish and chips in the peaks! I look forward to my weekly visit for myself and my family. I have seen a review from someone about chips being fishy batter scraps!? they are Proper home cut and cooked chips they are stunning!!!

Brilliant. Friendly staff, freshly cooked food. The fish and batter were excellent, best we've tasted in ages. Recommend you visit.

Excellent chip shop
A lovely man served us, the vegetarian options were as expected for a chip shop but they were nicely marked up on the menu. Chips were fantastic, would definitely go again

Delicious cod and chips , cooked fresh to order . Great service and portion size . My Mum is the fussiest about fish and chips, having grown up in a fish and chip shop , and she declared them ‘ the best I’ve had in a very long time ‘. High praise, well deserved. Thank you .

Worst fish and chips I've ever had 😒
My fish was full of bones and what batter there was was undercooked & soggy. As for the Chips they were dry scraps, not a single one that even resembled a chip more like fishy batter scraps. Pity I can't add photos to prove what I'm saying. Won't be returning.
