At least you can still have great Fish and chips during isolation. Easy way of ordering online you just need to pick them up when they notified. Shop was clean food tasted fresh,delicious HOT and the staff was really friendly 5* Definitely recommend.

My partner visited here tonight and witnessed the blonde lady behind the counter serving up food with her long hair down and no mask on. Standard food preparation practice is to tie your hair back or wear a hair net. Found two hairs in my food, 1 on my sausage and 1 on my chips. Been using this chippy for 8 yrs and have now been really put off coming back!

Best chips ever. Nice and soggy in the middle but crisp on the outside mmmmm. Fish was top also. Another glowing positive is that the food was allready cooked and ready to serve. Quite a lot of places cook to order so you end up with cod that it one million degrees centigrade. No so with this place. Everything is fine and at the right temperature.

Amazing Donner meat and chips did exactly what I asked for, lovely chicken burgers also, I think a while ago it went a bit down hill but now its back to how I used to love as a child! Great portions great flavour will always use this chippy from now on still the same owner from when I was around 8 years old I'm now 32 brilliant bloke and so lovely ordering is a must

Lovely food, maybe a little bit greasy but still lovely. As for the portion sizes, WOW, we got a small portion of chips and that was more than enough for the 3 of us.

I was visiting a relative in Mountbatten hospice in Fair Oak, Southampton from Lancashire.
Our relatives called Dippies Chippy in the hope we could get food delivered.
We had fish and chips, and chicken nuggets and chips for the children.
The nuggets were much better quality than chip shops usually serve. And my fussy child ate them all.
The fish was excellent. Ordinarily, I can't eat fried fish without tartare sauce because I need something to cut through the grease.
But, this fish wasn't greasy at all. it was fresh and perfectly cooked with beautiful crispy batter.
The driver also delivered the order right to the door of the room we were in and not only did a contactless handover, but also gave us the meal 'gratis' to ease our situation.

Normally really good but this afternoon it was rubbish chips were cold, cheese wasn't melted it seems to be going down hill !

Absolutely the worst fish and chip shop (probably in southampton) would not advise to go here unless you want a sweaty soggy batter’d fish and undercooked chips and oh it’s called “dippies chippys” for a reason……. Let me explain they actually fortgot my fish on my fish and chip order, the staff are rude as they Denied forgetting my fish so was standing there for half hour until I got my fish but was a complete waste of time as I chucked it in the bin as I couldn’t eat it.
