Huncote Fish Bar

I asked about strips of fish and type of chips to share with a friend! Both enjoyed our meal! The photo is less than half the meal!

Very friendly and lovely staff, the food is good quality, it’s just a shame even if we call ahead by 30 minutes before collection we still have to wait 15-20 minutes when we arrive to receive our food. But nether the less it is one of the better chip shops around.

Really disappointed with my meal. Ordered a fish and chips from here tonight. Fish was not great at all in terms of the taste but the main issue was that it was full of bones. The chips were also bang bang average ( i remember this being the case on the few other occasions i have been before). To think that i paid a 10nr for that along with a sauce is mental. Will not be back. Hope the owners use this feedback constructively.

Love Huncote Chippy- in my opinion the beat locally for sure! Had chips and chicken kebab today, bloody lovely.

This has been our chip shop of choice since we discovered it over a year ago, but after this evening I unfortunately have visited for the last time. Nothing to do with the standard of the food that is fantastic it's all about the customer service and having to stand outside in the freezing cold for over half an hour for chicken meat and chips has spoken volumes about customer service. O well all good things must come to an end.

Great fish and kebabs. Queueing system is a bit weird, just not what I'm used to. Great tobe able to phone order through for collection. Staff really friendly.

Started coming here recently and it is really good! Fish is always freshly cooked and the Gyros are amazing! A pleasant surprise as I have always used The Nook which is also great but nice to have an alternative!
