My Plaice

First time ordering fish and chips from my plaice after a recommendation from a friend and I wasn't disappointed. The portion is huge, this is only half the chips i received. I'm definitely a My Plaice customer for good 👍

I live roughly around 15 miles away from Harlow and “My Place” was highly recommend by a friend and they didn’t disappoint either. The food was fresh and amazing, the service was incredible and the staff are very polite and acknowledged everyone that walked through their door.
Overall the chips were nice and fluffy and not greasy, the cod was freshly made and again grease free. Great value for money and I will definitely be returning regardless the journey.

Best fish and chips in the UK. People actually travel for miles just to savour the freshly cooked fish and chips. It's worth the trip.

I would say that chips are my favourite food and have eaten tons over the years. So lucky to have finally found a wonderful chip shop, always fresh and so reasonably priced. It is so refreshing to see that this chip shop hasn’t gotten on the band wagon like so many other restaurants and over priced people. I will always return thank you.

This is definitely my place to get fish and chips from now on.
Light and crispy fish, nice size too.
With tasty fluffy chips to match.
Staff friendly also.

Food is absolutely amazing.

What... the hell happened to this place. There used to be 2 brothers that worked there, the chips were always 10/10. The fish was good too, tonight... wow, chips looked like they had been fried 3 times, you know when a place cooks too many chips, keeps some and then cooks them again when they are already stale... but then needs to do it again and then they are absolutely shocking... this is what my.chips are like. They were piled into the box, burying the fish, the fish wasn't great, but passable. But the chips... terrible. Then the floor in the place, was so greasy and slippery. It was never like this when those two brothers ran that place! I hope they come back or we will need to find another chippy.

Cooks food fresh to order so always good. Lots of food on deals depending on days of the week. Recommend trying here.
