Loved it! It's hard to find a good, traditional fish and chip shop these days and now I have. Tasty battered fresh fish and yummy chips, cooked perfectly. I haven't had a bad experience yet and would highly recommend.

Worst fish and chips and saveloy and chips I have ever had. The fish was dripping in fat. The batter was raw and soggy. The chips were just awful. The saveloy had no taste as just warmed in water. And this was after we asked for the fish to be cooked longer so the batter would be cripy. Wont be going back. Waste of money.

We’ve both just had cod, chips, mushy peas & curry sauce and I have to say it’s by far the best we’ve ever had. The fish was huge, tasted amazing, batter was perfect as were the chips. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

This has now changed to a part Fish and Chips shop, part Kebab House. The chips are NOT proper chippy shop chips and are pretty much the same frozen chips you can buy in any supermarket. Further, the batter was very doughy, not crispy at all and overall a failed experience for me. I have NOT tried the new kebabs though.

Food hygiene rating 0. I think it says it all. Looks like the new management aren't doing that well. When they took over things started going downhill, and some of the food we normally ordered there tasted as if it was going out of date, so we stopped going there. Then they changed their name to Willesborough Kebab and were awarded 0 hygiene rating in December 2020.
I wish someone who knows what they're doing would take over and turn it into a decent chippy. It used to be a good one under the old management.
