This place is excelent for food without crazy prices. I love going here because it has great food and excelent service. I recommend this highly. You will never get a bad meal from this place! 😊

Just had cod and chips and was very disappointed!
The batter on the fish was underdone and slimy,
the chips were full of insect tracks and could of been used for hardcore ,
Usually food is very good but I didn't recognize the crew , maybe new in??

We we're staying in Canterbury for holiday and one evening we stopped, grabbed some Fish n Chips and Chicken to take home. The crew working were very nice and even let us try a couple of things we had never heard of. Food didn't take very long to get. Nothing was bad, it's was a good, straightforward meal. Was a bit greasy, that's was to be expected since it was a bag of fried food. Just didn't find it to have much taste or flavor. Just everything coated in a bland flour and quickly fried. They gave pretty good-sized portions, so we felt we got our money's worth. For a quick meal, Ossies will meet your needs, but if you are looking for something more flavorful, you might want to look for an alternative.
