Jersey Farm Fish & Chips, Kebab

This is now a top class fish and chip shop that also sells kebabs. The chips are wonderful, cooked just right and not too greasy. The fish, we had haddock, cooked perfectly and very moist. Prices are very competitive for the area. Highly recommended.

Got some fish and chips for my 5 year old boy, they cost £9 which is very expensive but i had agreed fish and chips as a treat for being good. I expected top quality for that price, opened them up at home looked like something from a cheap super market frozen isle someone cooked in the oven last month. I had a bite and they were awful. Total rubbish. AVOID !!!!

Jersey Farm Fish, Chips & Kebabs possess an *outrageous lack of care for the customer!*

These are the most disgusting chips I've ever tasted in my life.

When I confronted the staff about the chips - Politely asked if they could prepare me a fresh batch, they simply said:
"Some people like their chips crunchy"
I was in shock and disbelief.
(The chips genuinely tasted like cardboard and chemicals. They don't change the oil very often shown by how I had remnants of burnt food on my chips)

If the customer asks for crunchy chips, they'll tell you or the business asks the customer. The business don't just assume.

Nobody expects the kind of cardboardy, crunchy quality of chips that I had the great displeasure of trying. The chips here are awful and that's not to mention their portion sizes.
If you go to a chip shop, I'm sure the majority of people expect nice fluffy, well cooked chips.

Secondly, their 'Large' Cod barely even scrapes a medium-sized cod which they say is worth £8 of my money. Check out my most recent photos in my reviews to see for yourself.

If you want *REAL* fish and chips, check out THE FISH & CHIP SHOP. Best I've ever had. No, I'm not paid to say that.

The best kebab shop/chip shop in Hertfordshire now that the best man and his family are back.
Always love the food fresh chips full off flavour.
Hands down the best donner meat!
Wouldn't go anywhere else. Our local and we are proud off it.
Also such a lovely man who runs the place takes so much pride in cleanliness and freshness!

The best take away. Always fresh food and owner is very polite

I would give a it a 0 if I could, the food was terrible. Everything was cold, saveloys were tasteless and weren’t cooked properly, the curry sauce was awful it was literally solid and clumpy. The chips smelt of fish, you could tell it was cooked in the same oil. The fish wasn’t great either, really disappointed.
