Vinny's Fish Bar

We are pretty new to Ibstock and we have been trying to find all our go-to eateries. Vinny's fish bar is friendly and reasonably priced and the portions are very generous so this is our go-to chippy of choice.

Left me stood there waiting too order for 10 minutes without response while a que built up out the other side of the shop then expected me too join the back went elsewhere for food

Went on recommendation but not blown away by the food. Lots of oil was retained on the battered items and the chips were rather soffy and a little underdone. Not bad food but not as good as recommendations suggested.

Vinny's never fails to disappoint, providing exceptional quality of food along with customer service.

Been ordering from here for a while and they used to be the best chip shop in the area. Recently chip portions have gotten smaller and fish has been oily and soggy. Tonight took the biscuit. We ordered a kids chicken nugget meal only to find two nuggets in the box! Going to try other chip shops in the area. Won’t return here and they’ve lost a good customer.

Hadn’t been here for years. Chips tasted amazing, not at all greasy. Same goes for for the other items inc. potted sauces. The taste is a premium, not your regular chip takeaway.

Had no complaints for this place. Waiting times can be we but longer. But the food complaints that. Brilliant for the whole family or social get together
