North Sea Fish Bar

Was so looking forward to our fish and chips. Used to be the best. Batter tasted like the oil was rancid and soggy. Chips tasted like they had been there all day and reheated. Won't be going there again. Would actually have given a minus score. Gone off oil???? Really

Overpriced and poor quality. The fish had the weirdest taste I’ve ever experienced in chip shop fish. So bad that the 3 of us who had it ended up throwing it away. The chips were tough and seemed like they had been reheated. The only decent thing were the mushy peas!
We will definitely not be returning.

Loved our meal tonight, my cod was some of the best meatiness and best better I have had and believe me I love my fish. Thank you, will be ordering again very soon

Always have cod and chips here, always excellent, been going here 20 year now, always reliably superb.

Good chip shop food. So good in fact I ordered twice in a week. Chips were nice, really good fish. Chicken kebab was different, not bad but a little salty and dry. Sausage was standard, wouldn't really recommend curry sauce as the time I got it was watery and beans seemed over cooked and mushy. Burger was decent but bun was way to big for it, as burger was small and again usual standard chippy burger. Food came piping hot wrapped well and delivered on time.

Very large fish n chips shop, with all the usual covid safety procedures in place,inside & outside ,very pleasant counter staff with quick service & a good selection of Lunch time specials on offer ,I tried the mini fish special which included a good size size fish ,plenty of chips with the option of peas,beans,curry or gravy.Great meal & value for £4 ,I will return in the future & recommend you try a visit .
