Golden Fry

Very quick on delivery, collections not always ready on time though. For us nothing special but portions are generally huge and prices are good.

Losing a star from me as they changed the meal deals to only include gravy or peas rather than both and they removed fish fritter from the menu, it was the best thing they made.

Overall you will get a good feed for a decent price.

Second time ordering and both gone over delivery time given. Rang tonight as my husband has to go to bed early as he gets up at 4am, and delivery time given was 75 minutes, ordered at 6.35pm. I watched a full one hour program, and halfway through another I paused it at 34 minutes, thats when I rang up I got told I still had 10 minutes on the delivery window till I said I could do a screen shot of when I placed the order plus I could go by the program length. Then it changed to she's on her way to you now, your next on her list. Hmm strange. Still had a further 15 minute, the food was lukewarm, and it was all squashed it its packaging, the fish and chips were mush had to pick out the best bits. The sausage and chips the box looked liked it had been stepped on. I wanted to ring and complain but my husband just wanted to leave it , because they won't do anything and we have had a day from hell and just needed to eat. Thinking a takeaway would be a nice treat maybe but not from golden fry twice now they have been bad, but tonight was the worst. Think twice before ordering from them.

Knockout today, fish especially good and very tasty with crispy batter, chips with salt and vinegar and just the right amount, I had the addition of curry sauce which was a worthy accompaniment.
10 out of 10 from us.

Sauce in kebab was horrible and what little chicken was there was hard and burnt, 3.90 delivery is also too steep, not for me.

Really good fish and best donner kebab in town, very polite staff .

Really nice food and so much more than a chip shop. The variety is great! Pizza, burgers, kebabs, chips, more! If you don’t know which takeaway to visit, or everyone wants something different, head here. Brilliant food.

Nice food, great range, reasonably priced. This is our local "chip shop" (though it sells far more than just fish and chips), so we go quite regularly rather than whenever this review claims we went.

Great food would not think twice about that, BUT I did have a chip cob and the amount of chips I got was a little disappointing, the chips were only on the cob and that's it, and the amount of paper they use is not needed so save money on paper and use it on potatoes for the chip cobs 🤭 but other than that great places thank you guys
