Always use this place, wonderful fish and chips Always..however tonight. Although my husband waited for the fish to be cooked (like it freshly cooked) don't want fish that has been under the lights..tonight batter burnt and fish dry.. disappointing

Good fish and chips service good

Nice walk for two hours by water falls and nice stop for food and shoping

What a disappointment, after looking forward to it all day. Haddock that only tasted of the oil it was cooked in (I didn't even eat 1/4 of it, it's turned my stomach, the rest will be out for the birds) and chips generally thin and sparse.

Was surprised to find there wasn't the usual queue, when I got home found out why, prices the same but the portions were smaller, fish slightly, chips, very much so!
Still tasty, but the reduced quantities equate to a (hidden) price rise.

Don't know what's better....the service or the fish and chips.
Fish and chips are perfect....not like other places where I have couple bites and can't be bothered to have the rest.
Service and lunch is done by a lady at the speed of light. No joke.
These guys are not messing around.

What a great place. All of the staff are extremely polite and welcoming making extra effort with any children. Food is top notch with reasonable prices. Jacks is a credit to the area.

Fabulous fish and chips! Staff are great, especially the boss. He loves the NHS and we thank him for his kindness and support.
