Cash only. Great polite service. Has sitting on the inside if you want to eat there. Have OAP meals for your elders. Cooked with vegetable oil. Generous sizes. Chips are great, they salt and vinegar to your liking ( something other shops don't bother).
One of our scampi portions had a few empty breadcrumbs.
Curry and mushy peas are good.

I was unaware this had been taken over till tonight the food was way expensive and the quality very poor the chips were in edible so disappointed as loved mcoys fish and chips but not anymore 😕

Purchase cod and chips each week from this terrific place, the fish is always fabulous and the meat fans out into small chucks upon cutting into it. The chips are nice and often have a light and fluffy consistency. Customer service is always welcoming and friendly. Fish and chips highly recommended here!

Expensive and diabolical service. Empty when arrived, girls took my order then got herself some chips and the 3 of them stood eating despite the fact plenty of fish and chips already cooked!! .30 minutes till I got my very small order, with no apology for the fact others came in, ordered the same and were served ! Fish was cold and chips were not nice. Been using them for years but this is the second time had dreadful service so definitely won't be going there again, - awful food and awful service, very disappointing as used to be lovely

Today enjoyed one of the best Fish n Chips in the town. Fresh, crisp and very low oil. Steaming hot and smooth. Loved it. Totally worth the drive and time to pick it up. Thumbs up for the quality, flavors and the quantity.

I buy fish & chips (and often other items as well) every week. It is always fantastic quality. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. Very reasonably priced compared to other places. I thoroughly recommend.

Lovely sausage and chips the only let down was they serve the food in a paper bag so all the vinegar ran all over my shorts. But the food is very good
