This is the second year my family have come to Yarmouth to remember my mum on her birthday. We ordered 18 portions of fish & chip & kids sausage & chips to eat on the beach. The food was delicious as always and the staff were really lovely. Thank you for helping make this day special for us

Best chips I've had! Shared a couple of medium chips (£1.90, bargain!) while in Merlins. Went back on our last day for more. Ordered the kids fish & chips (£4.50) and the portion size was perfect! Just be careful of the seagulls 😂

Well you want chilly cheesy chips then here’s the plaice to go. Yes they do fish too. And mushy peas and anything else you can get from a chippy. My wife goes there when she is in Yarmouth nice friendly staff but, I’m sorry for the but. We have both noticed recently that the chips have not been too great recently you know like not so much soft but more crispy and either overcooked or sat around for a while more crispy ends than the potato. I’m sure that’s just a blip though. As before this they were great.

I like to give credit where it is due and this place was amazing. I haven’t had as good a fish and chips in a long while and my local supposedly gets awards. So pleased I found this little gem. Lucy behind the counter had exceptional customer service also. Chips great, fish great and sauces great. Included with outstanding service and prices. Can’t wait to come back

Me, my husband and 4 daughters came for lunch last week. Me and my husband had sausage and chips. We sat down outside to eat when suddenly a seagull came down and stole my husbands sausage 🤣 honestly couldn't make it up. It scared the life out of me. The staff probably had a good giggle. When I went to buy another for him the lady gave it us for free. Which I didn't expect! Thank you we both loved the food. Funny story to tell as well. Maybe we'll take away next time

Gorgeous Haddock, expertly cooked. The batter tastes great. He knew what he was doing the young good-looking lad who cooked it think his name was Shane. Very friendly, will return!

Locally caught fish, freshly hand cut chunky chips and the most friendly staff you could ask for! I only had enough for a piece of fish but they threw in a some chips just to be nice!!! Honestly the best chips I have ever eaten in my life, they were completely fluffy on the inside and melted in your mouth! Normally I feel heavy after a greasy fish and chips but that was not the case here! Would give more stars if I could and will definitely come again next time I’m in town!!!
