Westgate Fish & Chips

We were visiting the area today. I fancied Fish and Chips. Had this taste in my mind. I was happy to see this take away place. The cot was very nice, the chips were nice too. Large portion under £10. The staff was very friendly. The place was bussy and food was fresh. Prepared quickly. We enjoyed the food on the sea front. It was even better than what I craved for. Well done team.

Had a few mandatory fish and chip suppers on the beach whilst on a short break - this place was recommended to us and am soo pleased it was. The food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly and offer a cup of chips to nibble on whilst you wait. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area

All staff are very engaging, the owner knows all about fish, he fillets all his own he also shares the best way to cook ingredients so as to not allow soggy batter or overcook fish

Popped in for fish and chips before going to the cinema. Lovely crispy batter on the fish and yummy chips. Service was given with a smile and chat. There wre several of us so we were given a free bag of chips while waiting for our order. Brilliant.

One of the best fish & chips takeaways in East Kent in my opinion. The staff are very welcoming. Prices sadly reflect the huge increases we have all seen in recent months. Check their menu for healthier dining options. Friday and Saturday evenings can be very busy.

I visited with 3x under 3 year olds on a cold day and the staff went out of their way to make our visit hassle-free. They even brought down extra chairs and moved a table for us to sit at! Wonderful customer service and the fish and chips were second to none. We'll definitely be back!
