Acle Fish and Chips

Great.

This is my first time ever posting a review, but did so because the food was excellent.

Chips, fish, sausage and pineapple fritter all perfect.
Staff made an error with the order - but rectified by giving me extra fish.

Top class.

My eldest boy thought the food was great too - and he is very picky.

Excellent, fresh, high quality fish and chips from a family ran chip shop. Shirley, her family and staff are always very welcoming and I’ve never had any complaints. Been going there 10 years so I would highly recommend.

We can't praise this fish and chip shop enough for how they kept going in a Covid safe way throughout the pandemic. Great tasting food, great value.

Worst fish and chips we have ever had. Food was inedible what a con this was yesterdays fish

-100 out of 10. Worst fish and chips I have ever had. Chips were greasy and the sausage was horrendous even my dog turned its nose up at it. I didn’t think you could have a bad chippy until I’d gone to this one.

Cash only in this day and age. Table at door to order and stand outside in freezing temperatures. Walked away.

Place was cooked lovely but chips wasn’t brilliant .we tried their on our way back from shopping in Yarmouth.I think they they they need to open shop properly to see what they serve at door as you can’t see what they’ve served you up until you get home . Open the the shop for customers to walk in and order properly!!

Dodgy sausages, dark and looking like they have been left over from lunch time...and a weird red brown meat colour inside? Batter on the fish very dark and not all that appertising. Perhaps a change of cooking oil is needed as there's no incentive to return with what was served up.
Shame our meal never met expectations of reading the other feedback before coming.
