My delivery was an hour and a half late, which I was fine with as the delivery driver was apologetic and well mannered, but my curry sauce tasted strongly like cleaning products which was just bizzare. As I poured it on most of the food, mg dinner was ruined.

Very greasy gluten free chips.
Normally really good but very disappointed today.
Actually felt sick after eating, threw most away.

Tried fish bar as the one I wanted to use was out of kebab meat. Got to say I was very disappointed. Had 2 large cod and chips curry sauce and mushy peas. Had to wait for chips to be cooked fish was wrapped so cold when I got home. But worse that that it was the driest fish I've ever had I could have snapped it in half. Also £7 for jumbo fish it was all batter and no fish! The only saving grace was the chips that were ok, well untill I ruined them will the watery mushy peas that had a funny after taste. Got to say for the price expected alot better it was actually inedable and ended up in the bin.

Overpriced, extremely long wait times, and poor quality. Expect to wait 30+ minutes during dinner time to be served inside as the staff prioritise online orders. Last time I went, my order was wrapped up whilst they made fresh roe which resulted in cold, soggy chips. I wouldn't have been so critical if the batter inside the roe wasn't raw to the point it was oozing out

More batter then fish, mushy peas like they've been sat there all day, and old scrappy chips! At least serve decent quality food if you want more custom! Complete waste of money

Excellent value for money, the fish is fresh and the chips are great. Golden yellow batter, and great options on the menu.

The fish bites are great value, and perfect for kids meals.

The lunch time value packs are also great and save money for the working man.

The produce is displayed well on the counter and the whole place is spotlessly clean.

The food is varied and delicious and this outlet is my favourite fish and chip shop in the area.

RIP Mr chips, long live the Rubery Fish Bar.
