The Fish Tank

Just had a takeaway haddock and chips from the Fish Tank this evening. Very generous portion of chips whilst the fish was cooked in a light crispy batter. Extensive menu with sausages, burgers, chicken, sauces etc., even mushy peas. Well worth a visit.

Really disappointed, curry sauce was 2.10 ( my error for not noticing before I ordered) , happy to pay for good food but that is pretty excessive in anyone's book. Sour taste left to be honest.

Best local fish and chip shop in the area, food always freshly prepared and very friendly staff.

Very good place they've started taking cards again which is and the food is always freshly prepared. Great place to stop in when you're running late home from work.

Clean, good service and friendly helpful staff.Good freshly cooked fish with a lovely crispy, light, non greasy batter and the chips are not greasy like a lot of chip shops.
We always ring and order and within 15 mins it is ready and we drive by and pick up. Reasonably priced. Excellent.

Cod and chips really are amazing. I've been in here a few times now. Staff very very friendly. The food is not the slightest greasy what more can I say I will be back for more that's for sure.

Tried for the first time today had rock and chips with mushy peas. Was nice. The batter was very crispy but the chips could've been a little more crispy. Staff were very helpful and friendly too.

Excellent skin off fish. Chips were sad, tasted burnt and dry even with salt and vinegar. Probably refried leftovers from lunchtime. No quality control before serving. Four staff there and no one to taste chips before serving. They're a fish and chip shop and can't make chips. Takes cards which is one up on that halfway green place.
