A great fish and chips bar with great & friendly staff! We loved their chips, their great fish and amazing service! We will definitely return here next time...

this was always out go to fish and chips - not any more his prices have shot up to a ridiculous amount!! medium haddock on just eat is £9.80 couple of months ago it was £7.20 - already expensive - now its a joke!!! much cheaper places about - he is seriously taking the mick!

John's Traditional Fish and Chips is far and away the best chippy in Gravesend. The shop has recently been done up and now looks immaculate inside and out.
The food is brilliant, with a standout menu of all the favourites, as well as some slightly different options for a chip shop. The scampi is particularly good and the onion rings are great too.
The service is perfect and the staff are always speedy, efficient and polite.

Highly recommended.

Expensive and not nice. The chips tasted like they had been cooked in "old" oil. The saveloy wasn't nice either. Won't be going there again!

I'm from the Medway towns and I usually stop here to buy chips as I make my way to work. The chips are always freshly cooked and perfect. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. This is the best fish and chip shop in the area.
