The Viking (West Watford)

A decent fish & chip shop, have been here many times over the years, i would definitely recommend. 🐟👍👍

Poor quality doner meat, as was rushed and undercooked, also chips were oily, under cooked and white in colour.
Staff where not very polite and the young lad with beard was arrogant as it's probably daddy's shop.
Portion size on the chips was a joke, spent £8 on lunch in total to get an upset stomach and Acid indigestion.
Was better of sticking with a £3.50 meal deal from Tesco, way better quality.
Will never visit here again......

Always well cooked fresh food, Fast delivery and never had a issue, Been ordering from here for years back when Viking was only on Bushey mill lane but now use my local Tolpits lane shop. Staff are great and store always clean when I decided to collect. Fair prices and good portions.

Was just walking past and thought I'd give it a go . Food was really good. Freshly cooked and tasty.Its hard to find a real good chippy.
Staff were really friendly. Would definitely recommend and return for more food!!

Chips came soggy and not fully cooked…disgusting!
Would not even bother going back!!!

They wrap the food up in a lot of paper just so it looks like you are getting a normal meal

Since the new owners have taken over the customer service has definitely improved. The food is consistently good and tasty. Our go to place for our weekly Fish and chips fix.

Staff working inside Viking, (one particular guy specially looks like he giving an attitude). Not a nice environment and from what I understand, it's new management! I left the shop and didnt even order my food.
Not good body language and looks like they definitely hate their jobs. Will not eat there again!
Shame because I used to like this place.
