Plaice '4' Taste

The chips are awful can tell they have been made a few hours ago... The potato is soggy & the battered sausage has goon soggy too. When I called them to let them know they hung up on me. Bad service and bad food.

Visited tonight for 2 Large Portions of Chips with salt and vinegar. Chatted briefly to the gentleman serving. Pleasant counter person and pleasant environment. Even a xmas tree . Service was quick. A very observational visit and to what I would call a basic chippy (chip shop); however based on first impressions.

My personal score for Plaice '4' Taste is 10/10.

My regular place for fish and chips. Freshly cooked. Just dont order too many chips the owner is very generous. I actually find a small chips enough for two if not three. Very reasonably priced food.

Surprisingly good, despite other locals suggesting otherwise! Lovely, large pieces of haddock & cod, freshly cooked and reasonably priced! Godfreys in Bushey might be 5*, but this is a close 4*.

It's a standard chippy ; not too expensive and not too posh. Does what it says on the tin.
Edit : update. They are happy to serve anyone without a mask, no problem. Poor.

Great place for fish and chips, excellent value.

Just purchased 2 beef and onion pies and chips and 1 of the pies mined beef filling was absolutely solid where it had been sat in the heaters for so long and the pastry needed a chainsaw to cut it.. very disappointed as previously used, and no complaints!

Lovely kebab aswell as fish and chips. Cheaply priced. Nice owner. Cant go wrong support your local !
