George's Fish Bar

I was visiting my dad & was hungry so through I buy some fish & chips for us. I choose a middle which they cooked fresh for me. I had salt & vinegar. Got to my dad's. Opened the chips looked over done but when I ate some they where very soft no crunchy at all & seem like they had soaked up all the oil. The fish wasn't the best either. I had a feeling it old oil .The good point was it was good value and plenty of them. I just couldn't eat it.

Happy with my large cod and chips this lunch time. Freshly fried to perfection. Very tender, juicy and tasty.

Very tasty fish and chips everything is prepared at the moment so is not any bad smell of fried or else.It is worth the money which you pay

Think management need to train staff about food hygiene ? I ordered a kebab tonight and the gent who served me used the tongs on raw meat then used them to serve me my cooked kebab meat ? I did point this out to them ? I was in the catering trade so know what I am talking about ? Cooked meat and Raw meat should only be used by separate tongs ? I just put my Kebab in the bin as don't want to be ill . Please watch them when you order as don't want you to fall ill ? Make sure they use separate tongs for cooked and uncooked food .. Not trying to lose them business but educate them as you never know who walks in and knows about food hygiene ?

Tasty fish, pretty busy when I was in there but good service.

All good, decent fish and chips freshly cooked. Nice, friendly people.

Very expensive food, just portion of chips 2:90p ridiculous the chips was cold The test was not great

Not the best..fish ok but chips recycled
