The Big Fish

Had to put 1 star so I could leave a review.
From order to delivery was 2.5 hrs.
After phone call and then driving to chip shop myself the food was eventually delivered while I was in big fish demanding my money back.
It was cold (what a suprise). Also the delivery was wrong but we were so bloody hungry after waiting for ages we attempted to eat it.
Pukka pie filling was ok, but the pastry was so hard it couldn’t be cut with a knife..
Batter on spam fritter and pineapple fritter was cooked, shame about the filling.
The chicken nuggets, chips and kebab were ok.
We did not have any energy left to go back to chip shop again as it was 9pm and shut.
If anyone wants to know a good place to eat in swad I would recommend anywhere that isn’t big fish.
Such a shame as it used to be brilliant before lock down.

Food great; prices a bit high. Last time I went they weren't taking cards and had to go elsewhere. Shame really.

Absolutely brilliant fish shop, daughter recommended it. Well ge visiting again Haddock was the best we have had for a long time. Great service, staff very friendly

Don't know what's happening to you guys, just had kebab in pitta, got home was swimming in oil..which was all u could taste..pitta bread was just soggy with oil.. twice in 2 weeks now..gonna pass for a while...your going down hill fast guys...sort it out

Sent my son today for large chips large fish large curry.
Chips were ok but curry was like runny water and the so called large fish was very small covered in loads of batter with hardly any fish. Had I gone myself I'd have refused the fish given.
Don't think o will go back in a hurry ,, needs to be renamed

First time coming here & I have to say that the chips were the best I’ve ever had.

We had a delivery recently and they food was brilliant! Have to say probably the best in the area, nice change to leave a good review. I hope they are consistent as some are hit and miss.

Very clean, very couteous staff, nothing seemed to much trouble for them.
And excellent fish and chips
