Best fish and chips you will ever eat.
I have had fish and chips in many different areas of the country and in the local area and this is the best one.
The fish is always cooked to perfection and beautifully tender. The chips are nicely crispy but not dry.
You can also have other deliciously unhealthy delicacies such as deep fried black pudding.

Really friendly staff, but, fish was mushy and batter soft. Chips undercooked and tasteless. Sorry, only came here as Milehouse was closed. Won't be coming back.

Great food but not so great customer service. The woman behind the counter could do with a smile and courtesy. No apologies after waiting 5 minutes to be served while all along having back turned on customers is not the best.

Excellent quality food at best price. Great staff, polite, smartly presented. Recommended.

Great value and a fantastic range of food. I'd advise ringing ahead as a lot is cooked fresh and it does get busy.

Really nice chip shop.
Can't comment on the fish, but chips, potato fritters and peas are so yummy.

Perfect chips! Friendly lady, (i forgot her name) and Dave is a happy chappy who could sell ice to the Eskimos 😊 and i will definitly have the Lemon Sole next time i call in.
