Bridgford Chippy

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice to have the fish and chips in a box. The contents don't get squashed and they keep better. The chicken kebab meat is to die for. Really tasty and full of spice. Very generous portions. Great chips. Not soggy and soft. They do a delivery service as well. Not many fish n chips shops do this. My favourite Chippy and I have tried them all.

Love this spot. Been here several times and always come back when in town. Great chips, kebabs and more.

Food was ok, but they left a pie off the order, which happens, that's acceptable, but we're only 2miles away, 61mins we waited for a pie!!! What a joke!!! our food went cold and reheated fish and chips is never as good as fresh cooked. Not impressed at all. However, was told we'd get discount next time... We shall see.

I'd recommend picking up, not ordering delivery.

I went here last night and asked for a pizza with chicken on only half of it. The lady replied she could not do this, then i asked the chef as he seemed like he was the owner, then the lady suddenly turned around and said i was rude for asking. More like she was rude for responding the way she was. It's not rocket science to just not add chicken to one half of the pizza? Really rude service and the pizza was burnt underneath when i got home. I wished I had of never ordered this in the first place and just walked out. Avoid this at all circumstances unless you want abuse from the counter lady who cannot seem to smile, even-though you are paying her wages by buying food from here.

If zero stars existed they would get that! Food never arrived, the staff at the restaurant were rude and not helpful after waiting over 2 hours for our food! Also lied to us on the phone saying it was coming but it never showed up!! Get your act together because your service is absolutely disgusting and you deserve no business from anyone with the way you treat your customers!!! Absolute joke of a restaurant.

Came in late at night after uni with change, but not quite enough! They sorted me food anyway and the chips were amazing! Low price and kind staff making this place my favourite takeaway here!

Absolutely disgusting, didn’t even eat it, my partner ordered pizza it was cold and stale like it was left over night. Chips and burned fish cake was cold and hard, tried warmed them up but they was horrible so I had no tea today. we also tried the chocolate fudge cake I say tired spat it back out and chucked it in the bin. Tasted like it had been took out the bin and severed. Do not go here this place is ready to be shut down I’d rather eaten boiled flavourless noddles they be fresher wish I’d have cooked at home. won’t be eating here ever again and I can’t tell You what to do but if you want to have tea tonight I’d look elsewhere very disappoint and hungry now. Good look guys

VERY OBVIOUSLY reheated food from the day before!

Chips dry and pale, both the Fishcake and the pie were overly dark in colour and dry. Thus reheated!. You can tell when something is fresh, and this food was NOT!.

Very poor food, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
