Broxtowe Fish Bar

We have some amazing fish and chips today. Staff are always lovely and very friendly. And the prices are great just look around. Family fed and satisfied today. They even put chips in box so it all stays crispy. Some of these reviews are so crazy, clearly you can’t please everyone but my experience was great. My parents used get food from here and the fish and chips is wonderful as always. Not had the donner and kebab with can’t comment on that.

Only visited as our usual chippy was closed. It is unassuming and I honestly didn't expect much, however, it was very reasonably priced and everything was cooked well and tasted good. Would definitely return.

Dont rate this place gone down hill over the years complained a few times nowt seems to change . new potatoes hear that alot obv theres a problem get new potatoes if people are complaining they dont look cooked... chips was at there best 14years ago must bin the old owners wen they did the big chunky chips back then was the best chip shop around...
but past few years its bin failing down hill not just my opinion either it's a fact and its not mocking a place as I have stated good and bad in review it's a clean place , good staff just quality off food ain't what it was just a honest review rate my takeaway thankyou kind regards (danny malin )

Can’t explain the shambles this is the second time we’ve ordered from here and the food has been ridiculously late and not even a sorry. Ordered at 530 didn’t arrive till 830 after ringing to see where the food was, not only that my kids nuggets where missing and when asked to send out another hour passed and I’m done waiting… disgraceful. Rude staff on the phone too.

However I have read reviews and seen the business replies. Your business has to have honest reviews and opinions for people to make the decision on whether or not to order from your business this review isn’t to tarnish that it’s a review on the service at hand. I would 100% recommend you for the food, it was tasty and delicious and despite being ridiculously late - warm never had an issue when nipping in for a lunch it’s always been tasteful. However,
I am just furious as a mother my kids had a late dinner and also missed out on half of what we ordered for them and this is the second time.

Waited an hour and a half. Phoned them up to ask where our order was and was told it had just left the shop. The food was cold. The curry sauce had been watered down. Very disappointed .

Embarrassment! shop workers very rude no manners. swearing front of customer all staff typically scum from Broxtowe and strelley !!! Shop should close down! I’m complaining to the council and trading standards.

Waited an hour and a half for delivery. Had to phone to find out where my order was. Food was cold. This is the fourth deli be ery we had and everyone has been cold, even the curry sauce. Would not recommend delivery service
