Wise Eater

Restaurant is nice. Friendly aptmosphere. Your only aloud a certain amount of dishes per serving however the staff are always right in how much they give you because you go home full. great value for money. We always ask jean to bring out whatever she wants so we always have something different.

Always great food from the Wise Eater. Their curry sauce is the best I've ever tasted!
Portion sizes are good and on par with any other takeaway of a similar nature. I don't think I've paid for prawn crackers EVER! Excellent job, keep it up.

Fish cakes are always nice and the chips, fish are great too. The Chinese food is really good too. Best fish and chip takeaway I've eaten in a long time

People be very carefull if what you order, I've ordered hot spicy chips (nice) a large carton of curry sauce (nice) and Singapore fried rice with no seafood, well when I got home and opened it I had prawns in my fried rice, and somehow I've ended up with a mini fish, I'm sorry but if I'm allergic to seafood why would I order a mini fish, but when I rng to complain I was passed on to a member of staff, only to hear the argument in the back ground saying that's what I ordered, I'm sorry but if I'm allergic why would I order, and to pass responsibility on to a junior member of staff, is well pathetic, stay clear guys if your allergic to seafood, oh yeah thanks for making me ill, will see you face to face very soon

Do not go at evening or morning opening times. They reheat yesterdays chips. This is the 3rd time they have done it an today they are appalling.

Chips are OK and the cod was nice and thick, although the batter was a little stodgy.
The peas were awful, processed with strange vivid green colour.

Cold , undescribeable Chicken ,

Have just had a chinese from here was impressed with how quick it was brought through from the kitchen when we got home and served it my husbands rice was cold ( baring in mind we only live up the road) my chicken chow mein was that bad i couldnt eat it god knows how old the chicken was it was curled up on the ends , the sauce was the worst consistency ive ever had all in all it was awful so wont be having anything else from there £12 down the drain but at least my tummy wont have to digest such rubbish food

I’d rate this higher if the website actually had links to the menu that work. Last time I went, the Chinese was beautiful. Because of not having a car, I can’t order from my favourite Chinese. Shame
