Just the best fish and chips that we've found. All freshly cooked always, good portion size, topped off by really nice friendly staff. Consistently high quality and value with excellent service over what is now for us a period of years.

This has to be the worst food I’ve ever had from a chip shop, the chips were just awful. They had burnt black bits in and stank of old oil. Would not eat here or recommend this place ever!

Good fish and chips, the oil was a bit too hot making the batter and some chips a little too crisp. The batter was strange, different from all the other places I have visited. Definitely unique but some may not like it. Staff was lovely, very patient with me and my stuttering. Definitely going to visit again.

First and probably the last time we will visit Nipped in because we fancied a portion of chips after an afternoon of shopping. Only after payment was we told we would have to wait, which seem stupid considering its what they sell and would expect them to have some ready. Waited ages, and after they came were disappointed with both quantity and quality of the chips. They were ok, but far better and more to be had at other chippies. It's a pity when you are looking forward to something, which I personally don't have often.

Fish & chips were delicious as usual, but I wasn't happy that quite a crowd of people all came in together with no thought of social distancing. Think some of them might have had learning difficulties, but no excuse really. I quickly left & won't be returning any time soon.

It's a chippy with indoor seating and additional seats downstairs (haven't been to that bit so can't say how big it is).

Vegetarian friendly oil used for frying.

I had sausage and chips. I wasn't impressed with the chips if I'm honest, but the sausage was really good so a bit of a 50/50 experience. It was nice that we (3 of us) ordered to "eat in" so they brought all the food to the table on plates.

Great chippy, catered well to my partners gluten and dairy free requirements which is a rarity at a chip shop. Was nice she was able able to have more than just a portion of chips. Arrived quickly, was still warm and tasty and they followed all my order notes.
