Personally I did not fancy the chips at all. They were soggy and the cod wasn't nice at all. Wouldn't recommend. ☹️ I always loved this place but recently it just got a bit worse. If they improve then it's the best chippy in Kettering. For constructive feedback, I would say that they need to insure the chips are crispy and thicker. I would also say the cods batter needs to be crispier as when I last went, it was a bit soggy. Improve your food please. Have the best of days, hope you listen. I spent £10 to order 6 scoops of chips and they basically gave me one portion of large chips. I’ve been calling their number to clarify or rectify the matter but no answer. I was impressed with their service before and I’m definitely not ordering from them now! I will let the locals be aware of this shocking skimping! Short of turning up to the shop I’m truly disappointed because I liked how they served my family a couples months ago!

Very friendly staff, freshly cooked chips however they were in a hurry and could have cooked the chips and my cod roe longer.
I'm sure their chips and fish is always good. Overall tasted great just wasn't crispy enough.

Really disappointed. Ordered direct and email confirmation back 60 mins for delivery. Finally turned up just short of 1 hour 30 mins. Ordered kids meal no toy or treat included. Batter on fish was hard and chewy. Food was luke warm and most ended up in the bin. First time we’ve ever had delivery usually we go direct and never had a problem. Worse meal we have ever had, they are usually so good. Lesson learnt.
After our bad review above the owner got in touch with us to personally apologise and put things right. We had a replacement meal which we collected and honestly cannot fault the meal. Back to the usual standard we’ve had from them in the past. It takes a lot for a business to hold up their hands which we admire from them the most. Thank you for being honest and rectifying. A good honest local business 👏

I love this place. I used to go all the time with my mum and dad. This is the best chippy in Kettering and the Doner meat and chips are amazing and I hope the chilli sauce is still extra hot as I'll be ordering from you this weekend :-)

Though my Pukka pie and chips wasn't hot, the staff are friendly and the service is good.

If you order from just eat or any other delivery company's your OK but if you go in the shop to order you are invisible. I went in the other day and stood in the shop for 10 mins and never even got asked what I wanted as all 4 staff just stood there doing orders so went across the road to flames and was served instantly since covid they don't care about shop customers so don't go anymore miserable and unfriendly slow staff 0 out 10
