Llanidloes Fish & Kebab Bar

Food tasted OK but chicken and chips was not what I expected. I thought I would receive a portion of chicken with chips. The chicken was all chopped/shredded into tiny bits, all dyed red and laid all over the top of my chips. I prefer to keep my food elements separate but it was impossible to eat one without the other. Do they chop their fish into little bits as well, and colour it, I wonder? Maybe I will just go to Evans's next time.

Consistently great chips, fish always spot on. I drive 23 miles to eat here, but they do need to take card payment.
Update after posting last 2yrs ago, it’s still the best!

Very friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price.

Best fish we’ve had - not too heavy on the batter and beautifully fresh / hot. Chips could have been a tad crispier but still very good overall.

Good food, but they messed up on 1 order, not overly fussed, I ask for large chips with gravy and only had large chips, no gravy. But food is always good 👍.

Amazing Fish and Chips! We were passing by on a return journey and we’ll staggered upon this small cosy fish and chip shop. Amazing Fish quality and chips.
