Lovely freshly cooked food, which we enjoyed last Friday. Nothing like cycling to Mumbles to enjoy their sausage, chips & curry sauce, enjoyed on the outdoor tables. Would highly recommend, lovely personal service, looking forward to visiting again

Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Very busy, so sometimes a wait, but the chips were melt in your mouth. Confession: we went back three times in one week they were so good :)

Was looking for some fish and chips at lunch while visiting The Mumbles. Johnnies came out well on Google, so have it a go.
Very good experience! The chap who served us was super friendly and helped with splitting the chips up between different fish boxes.
The actual fish and chips was definitely one of the better ones I've had. There were a few bones at the very end of some of the fish, but they were obvious, and the fish trasted great.
Would definitely recommend if you're looking for fish and chips in the area.

One note, it's cash only, but they have a free cash machine in the shop (bit weird, but they're we go!)

Read the reviews and yes fresh, friendly and great quality. The haddock was cooked to perfection, large flakes of fish that melt in your mouth. Sat outside in the sun at one of the tables, everyone was helpful. A great end to the holiday, thank you.

Superb quality - best in Swansea! Fish cooked perfectly, big portions friendly staff and never had a bad meal. Decent price for the quality of the food and is always made quickly

Great Take-away! Massive portions. Usual Menu favourites at Decent prices compared with what we pay at home! Added bonus is they have a Free Cash machine in-store! The staff are Great Craic too! Happy to recommend! 😊

Visited whilst on holiday, chose Johnnies as it seemed to have decent reviews. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Service was extremely slow, steady queue that staff seemed to struggle to keep on top of. Waited almost 40 minutes for our order and when we got it back to the accommodation found that the Scampi we had ordered was missing. Was too far to walk back and we had 2 very tired and hungry children. Also, we got two large chips to split between 3 of us but these portions are seriously huge so lots went to waste. Not a complaint as such, just be aware and save your money. At £34 for a fish supper we will try somewhere else before we head home.
