Amazing fish and chips with mushy peas for myself and the family, visiting from England! Lovely polite staff, and the order was cooked fresh and served within 10 minutes!! Will definitely be recommending to others and returning! Could not recommend more!

This our 3rd time and it was poor. The chips ha obviously been cooked and kept warm for ages, the same for the sausages and fishcakes. The fish was nice but very small even though I paid for a large one. Although I only live a 5 minute drive away, apart from the fish, which had been freshly cooked, everything else was at best lukewarm.

The cod burger is amazing 👌 would recommend! It's nice to have a different veggie burger option other than the usual replacements. The other half had the brisket burger and was in heaven. Super tasty, lovely chips and even lovelier staff. Thanks guys!

What a lovely place. Very friendly helpful staff or managers!! Nothing too much trouble. Had a scrumptious cod and chips with that little extra of fresh lemon and tartar sauce (on request)
Don't know of a chip shop that has that little extra only had that in a restaurant. Great variety including squid on the menu. Loved all the hand written signs made it that little bit more personalised. Nice selection of cold drinks too. Didn't understand the corner with the glass doors to purchase things out of but a good talking point!!!
Would definitely recommend, the fresh and piping hot food and will definitely return.

My biggest problem with this place is that it is too far from home!
I’m lucky with work that I have an excuse to pass by this little gem occasionally and the food today was fantastic. Can fully recommend “The Big Angus” a double burger with “the works”, but beware you need a hearty appetite to conquer this one! Also great service with a smile as well. Will definitely be calling again.

Very good selection of food available, not just fish and chips! Lovely quick service and cute shop. Thankful to find something so close to the base of Snowdonia in prep for our trek. Highly recommend!

What a disappointment! Have been coming here for years and always had lovely food. I think it is under new ownership AGAIN because the food today was awful, the worst we've ever had. To start off with, the lady server brought out 2 frozen pieces of fish to batter which has always been fresh fish previously and required the sever to probe numerous times thus creating holes in the batter and making the fish greasy and inedible. The chips were cold and greasy. I suspsect the sausages were warmed up from the night before as they were luke warm and wrinkly. What a waste of £40 and will definitely not be returning!
