Crispy cod

Staying nearby for a long weekend, and thought we'd try this place out.
Nice and clean inside, smells were yummy! Placed our order and joined the queue of people waiting for their orders. Only two people were working there and it was very busy.. plus being a Friday night... but I didnt mind as I knew our food would be nice and fresh once it was ready.
Chips were delicious and sausages equally as good. Only thing that wasn't 100% was that the pies were microwaved.. but hubby did not mind.
Reccomended !!

Visited for the first time Friday evening and both had fish & chips,and I had a large portion of mushy peas.

By far the best we have had in a long time.It was soon clear to see why it is called Crispy Cod… the batter was perfectly crispy & light.

Well worth the £14.80 and we will certain be visiting again when in the area

Been here tonight for fish, chips mushy peas. Absolutely top class fish n chips, cooked to perfection. Staff very nice n friendly. Would highly recommend!!!

This was our second choice of chip shop as the first was closed.
However the food was very good quality. We had cod and haddock- both tasted nice.
However the Spam Fritter was the main deal- never had one before but it was absolutely delicious!!!! I wish I'd had more than one!.
Service was good - the young woman serving just before 9pm on 16th July 2022 was really friendly.
Also could tell the shop was clean as visited whilst cleaning was taking place.

Brilliant chippy for a holiday town. Always have issues with seaside chippy but very pleased with this one. Food served fresh and very tasty. Generous portions. Hubby wasn't keen on pie but enjoyed his fish. Very polite staff. Only accept cash.

Excellent fast service. Had a range of fish, cooked fresh (delicious) and 2 children's meals. Generous portions, extremely friendly staff. Offers on "fish Friday" not to be missed.

Just had chips and gravy and son had chips and box of Donna meat absolutely lovely
